I began my work with the land as a child, growing up on a small farm in the Midwestern United States. During my childhood, I had the privilege of learning firsthand where my food came from. I had the pleasure of watching the slow and careful work of the seasons as buds developed into flowers, then fruits and seeds. Later in life, I realized what a formative experience it was for me to have these impressions and concrete experiences so early in life.Out of this realization came my commitment to provide young people with the same experiences. For 20 years I lived out this passion and drive as a Montessori educator. During that time, I worked with children ages 3 to 12, both in the US and Switzerland.
In 2019, I began my journey into permaculture. As a lifelong gardener, I already had a good foundation in hands-on work with the land, but the techniques and concepts behind permaculture were a true revelation and inspired me to take the next step. In 2020, I completed the permaculture design course at the Down to Earth Academy for Permaculture Design.
Through permaculture, I found a way to fully bring together my passions and experiences as an educator and environmentalist.

As a scout leader, camp director, French teacher, primary school teacher, remedial teacher and youth worker, I have been passionately working with children and young people for over 20 years. First in my birth country Belgium and since 2014 in my adopted country Switzerland.
During my maternity leave, I realized that I wanted to combine my passion for nature and the connection to our planet with my professional career: to teach living permaculture! Inspired by Bill Mollison, David Holmgren, Patrick Whitefield, Margarete Langerhorst and Marcus Pan, I set out together with the young generation on the path to a sustainable future.
Because the children of today will shape the world of tomorrow - motivating and empowering them to contribute to regenerative development and take co-responsibility is a matter close to my heart.
All together...
for a future fit for grandchildren!

When I learned about permaculture a few years ago, it was clear that it would play a major role in my next stage of life. In the summer of 2022, I completed my Permaculture Design Course at the Down to Earth Academy.

When I learned about permaculture a few years ago, it was clear that it would play a major role in my next stage of life. In the summer of 2022, I completed my Permaculture Design Course at the Down to Earth Academy.
The regenerative and sustainable principles put into practice in permaculture inspired me so much that I decided to devote all my energy to the permaculture movement and have determined to make my passion my profession. The natural world is the foundation of everything and my motivation to create a more conscious way of working with it is boundless.

Hello! Originally from Spain, I came to Switzerland in 2016. Among other things, I'm a mum of two kids, a social worker with experience in community development, intercultural dialogue and youth work in Scotland, Europe and online. Also I am passionate about learning from and with Nature.

I'm currently doing my Permaculture Diploma, a great opportunity to bring the Ethics and Principles of Permaculture into my everyday life: Moving towards more sustainable and enriching ways of being with myself and others.

Connecting with people in nature has become one of my favourite parts of the day and I'm really excited to keep doing so with the ReGeneration Permaculture Team.
