Earth Treasures
We are concerned with soil as an important basis for life. Healthy soils are needed and protecting them must be tackled worldwide. Will you help?
In this camp we get to grips with the soil: We learn about different soil animals, find out more about humus, discover what harms the soil and together we find out how we can improve the soil. In addition, we practice recognizing wild plants, take care of the farm animals, cook over the fire and learn to rethink in relation to "waste".
The permaculture garden for children is located at the permaculture farm Auenhof bei Feldbach, a learning and demonstration farm affiliated with the Academy for Permaculture Design "Down to Earth".
This program is supported by the permaculture farm Auenhof bei Feldbach as well as WWF.
This is a 6-day bilingual (German/English) permaculture course with overnight accommodation.
The course is led by professional educator and permaculture expert, Angela Malmgren (English), with support from WWF staff.
