Fermented drinks are a probiotic powerhouse!
Lightly fermented drinks are an excellent source of beneficial bacteria and yeast that help to support digestive system health. Each drink offers slightly different benefits because their benefits depend upon the bacteria and yeast used to culture them.
In this course, we will taste beverages fermented using various different techniques. We will learn some basics about fermentation, and how to make these healthy beverages at home. We will also learn how to make some tasty syrups for extra flavoring. Each participant will leave with his or her own starter kit so that you can begin right away making your own kombucha, water kefir and natural sodas at home.
