Course Leaders: Angela Malmgren and Lobke Beks
As of spring 2021, we are very pleased to offer a 4-day experience for children in permaculture at a working permaculture farm.
The Auenhof bei Feldbach, located in the beautiful Züri Oberland, is a learning and demonstration farm where permaculture workshops and trainings are held throughout the year.
During the spring and summer of 2021, we will be building up a permaculture garden there, specifically designed for children. This garden will be an experiential space for children to learn about permaculture, gardening, food production, collaboration and cooperation.
During our camp weeks, the children will have the opportunity to interact with and observe the ducks, chickens and goats on the farm, to harvest produce and to take part in cooking fresh food from the garden, as well as learning about permaculture and sustainable living.
The course leader, Angela Malmgren, is an educator with over 20 years of experience working with children. She holds internationally recognized diplomas in Montessori education for children ages 6-18, in permaculture design, and for children in permaculture.
